Ultem thermoplastic, this helmet features the same level of protection against impact and penetration hazards found in other Cairns helmets. This helmet is certified to both NFPA 1971-2007 for structural firefighting as well as NFPA 1951-2000 for urban search and rescue (USAR).

The no-brim design gives firefighters and emergency responders easier access to confined spaces and vehicle rescues. Features tough, non-corroding, high-temperature, glass-filled polymer goggle hardware. The ultra high-temperature (TPR) edge trim will not melt or drip. Customers can choose between a two- or three-point Nomex chinstraps. Choice of Nomex or Pbi/Kevlar earlap for increased neck/ear coverage and protection. The high-temperature foam cap increases thermal and impact protection. An exclusive SCBA interface front headband adjustment matches the fit of any SCBA mask. A three-position rear ratchet height adjustment ensures a secure and comfortable fit for all head sizes between 6-3/8 and 8-3/8 inches. Choices of flannel or leather cushion liners are removable for washing and upgrading and provide greater ease and comfort.
