Illinois introduces carbon monoxide regulation

QUINCY, Ill. — Carbon Monoxide is a colorless, odorless gas that kills about 200 people in the U.S. every year.

That's why beginning next January, a new Illinois law will require all residents to install carbon monoxide detectors within 15 feet of a sleeping area.
